One room or several doors throughout your home
You can enquire about a single door or a mixture of door types across your home. The quote form lets you enter hollow core and solid core quantities separately, then identify how many need a bathroom privacy latch.
Hollow core doors are lightweight; solid core doors are more substantial. Choose the type stated by your door supplier, rather than guessing from the style or finish. If you’re unsure, add the product name or link in your enquiry notes so we can discuss it.
Fitting a new door into an existing opening
A door needs to work with its frame, hinges, latch and surrounding floor. When planning your job, tell me whether the frames are staying, whether the doors are already on site and whether any flooring or decorating work is still to be finished.
If an opening, frame or piece of hardware needs extra work, we’ll discuss that before booking. The online estimate covers door fitting; frame repairs, alterations and other carpentry are agreed separately. Please arrange removal of old doors separately, as I do not provide that service.
What to tell me before your appointment
Enter your full postcode and select house or flat. For a flat, mention the floor, lift access, parking arrangements and any building access restrictions in your notes. This helps us plan how the doors and tools will reach the work area.
Tell me which doors need bathroom privacy latches, what handles and hinges you have, and any preferred fitting date. You can also describe unusual door sizes or an opening that currently catches. Photos can be discussed when I follow up.
Your fitting quote and booking
The price is personalised to the door quantities, door types, property and bathroom latch requirements you submit. Any eligible saving for multiple doors is included. Prices appear after you provide your contact details, rather than as a fixed price for an unknown job.
Submitting the form saves an enquiry and shows your estimate for standard doors. I’ll contact you to confirm the job, coverage and appointment. No payment is taken on the site and submitting the form does not reserve a date. Fire doors receive a personal assessment and quote for the complete job.
